This morning, our son was reading aloud from his National Geographic Kids magazine, sounding out "pachyderm" - I (attempted) explained that there are several names for different living things, for example while he is a 'human' he is also homo sapien sapien, (odd look from 8 year old), that he had a genus and species . . . (wait for it)
"Mom, I am a genius???"
